Making cybersecurity everyone's responsibility

Sep 30, 2022

Most people will look both ways when crossing the road to ensure their safety, however most see cybersecurity as someone else’s problem to fix, rather than taking responsibility for it themselves.

Make it part of your DNA

With cybersecurity incidents becoming more prevalent across the globe, it is now a matter of when not if something will occur.

In order for organisations to successfully defend against these cyberattacks, a cybersecurity culture must be ingrained into an organisation’s DNA and ways of working. This allows the organisation to make informed risk decisions and continue to transform and deliver new functionality at pace.

Cybersecurity is everyone’s responsibility

As a never ending game between attackers and defenders, organisation’s have to think about cybersecurity differently and make it everyone’s responsibility. By doing so, the organisation not only has a team of security professionals looking for security risks but instead an army of employees all looking to protect the organisation.
